What is Corporate Cup? The Corporate Cup Challenge was brought to fruition by the Main Street Lamar Board (previously known as Lamar Partnership) to raise funds for the beautification of Lamar Main Street. The Corporate Cup Challenge is a program dedicated to furthering the relationships of business and their employees through healthy lifestyle. Teams compete for bragging rights and prizes while competing in the following events: Kayak Races, 5K Run/Walk (predicted time wins), Krazy Kickball Tournament, Beach Volleyball Tournament, Fishing Tournament, Cornhole Tournament, and Community Togetherness Project. We like to call it the biggest office party in town!
Main Street Lamar Main Street Lamar is the Main Street program for the City of Lamar. It has been a Colorado Main Street Program since 2010. Main Street Lamar works to make lasting changes in Downtown Lamar by leveraging partnerships and historic assets, and building together to create a destination for residents and visitors to our community. The goal of Lamar Main Street is to bridge various community development organizations to help leverage individual efforts into something greater. Our success with our Main Street Program can be attributed to closely aligning our activities with guidance provided by the Department of Local Affairs Main Street Program staff, and, of course the commitment of the Main Street Lamar Board of Directors.
