Our HistoryOur Board |
Lamar has been a Colorado Main Street Program since 2010. We are a National Main Street Accredited Program and achieved “Graduate” status as a Colorado Main Street Community. We were recognized as the Colorado Main Street Program of the year for 2014. Our success with our Main Street Program can be attributed to closely aligning our activities with guidance provided by the Department of Local Affairs Main Street Program staff, visionary City of Lamar staff and administrators, and, of course the commitment of the LMS Board of Directors.
The board is the governing body of the local Main Street program, providing strategic direction, making decisions on budget and staff, and serving as ambassadors for the program.
